During the morning you will make a selection of delicious breads, from a quick and simple soda bread, to focaccia, bread sticks and a beautiful fougasse. We will look at different types of yeasts and work through each of the key steps of mixing, kneading, rising, shaping, proving, glazing and baking, helping you understand the secrets of making a great loaf.
You will take home a bag of freshly baked bread, a full handout and all the knowledge you need to get making bread at home.
Cost: £50 per person, including everything that you need plus a lovely handout. Just bring your apron.
Location: Great Walstead School Kitchens, Lindfield. We will start at 9,30 am with coffee and biscuits, then get cooking.
