You can make the perfect cake and you can ice it pretty well too, but you would like to learn how to get perfectly straight edges to take your cake decorating to the next level. If so, then this is the course for you!
Join Clare Pope of Clare’s Cake Boutique in this very hands on class, where you will learn how to use chocolate ganache to coat your cakes before learning how to ice them with sugar paste to achieve perfectly straight edges and sharp corners.
You will then learn how to decorate your cake with some royal icing techniques as well as learning how to use stencils with royal icing.
You will need to bring a pre-filled and chilled cake with you to work on, or alternatively we can supply this for you for an additional £15 – please let us know if you would like a cake at the time of booking or alternatively you can add a cake to your order by clicking here.
Please bring a packed lunch with you if you would like. A light, sweet afternoon tea will be included and of course lots of tea and coffee!
