Join Chloe Coker for a morning of baking meringues and macarons.
We will look at the skill of making, colouring and flavouring meringue, which you can pipe into kisses and cups. We will also look at what happens when we add nuts to meringue and make a delicious dacquoise, perfect for summer desserts.
You will then make and pipe a set of simple macaron shells (French meringue method) before making a selection of fillings:
- chocolate ganache
- rose ganache
- salted caramel buttercream
- pistachio ganache
We will also look at simple shop bought fillings such as jams and curds.
You will take away everything that you make, boxed in cake boxes with ribbons, along with a recipe handout and the confidence to get baking at home.
