Join Italian cookery expert and award winning cookery writer Valentina Harris for a morning making delicious handmade pasta.
At this relaxed, hands-on workshop Valentina will share her extensive and unique knowledge of Italian food as you make, roll, shape and cook your own pasta which you will then enjoy as a meal and also take home.
At this class you will:
- Make your own pasta dough
- Learn how to roll and cut your pasta
- Learn how to make filled pasta such as ravioli and tortellini
- Make a selection of seasonal sauces including tomato sauce with soffritto, classic ragu and tagliolini with lemon
At the end of the lesson, you will sit down and enjoy the results with Valentina and the rest of the class.
While you cook, Valentina, who has spent her career cooking, teaching and writing about Italian food, will share with you the history and culture of the recipes that you are making.
