Join guest tutor Nic Eadie of Thai street food pop-up Thai Angle for a morning of authentic Thai cookery. In this half day, hands-on workshop you will explore the fundamentals of Thai cooking, looking at flavours, spices and techniques for making authentic Thai dishes using lovely fresh ingredients.
Nic will teach you how to make some of his most popular recipes, including your own curry paste, which you will use to make a Thai curry, as well as delicious pad thai sauce and pad thai noodles. Nic will also show you how to make a lovely Tom Kha soup and his popular chilli sauce and teach you how to make perfect rice even time. The recipes can be made as vegetarian or meat options, depending on your dietary requirements.
Our classes are limited to 4 students, meaning that everyone has lots of time and individual attention from their tutor. Each student has their own work station with their own ingredients and equipment and lots of space. We have full Covid-19 protocols in place to ensure that your time in the kitchen is safe and relaxed.
You can eat your freshly made pad thai and soup at the cookery school and take home your thai curry to enjoy with your family at home along with extra thai curry paste and pad thai sauce to cook with at home. You will go away with a full recipe handout along with the knowledge and confidence to recreate your favourite Thai dishes at home.
